Partouche to Enter UK Market

The largest casino group in France is set to launch a new sports betting site in the UK. Partouche plan to invade the UK market just in time for the start of the Euro 2008 Football Championships, in the second quarter of 2008.

Due to gaming legislation in France, Partouchgaming.com will not be accessible to players residing in France but will be targeting the lucrative UK and international markets.

Ex-Manchester United icon Eric Cantona, who is the face of Partouche, is to be featured by the website as he is a long standing favourite among sports fans in the UK.

Following an agreement with poker software provider Red Planet Gaming, Partouche also plan to add online poker to its online offerings in the near future.
