Online Progressives Nearing $16 Million

29th January

Microgaming has revealed that the total prize pool for its Progressive Jackpot Network has passed the $15.5 million mark.

A pioneer in online gambling, Microgaming said that the prize pool for its Mega Moolah game is inching closer to ten million dollars while three other progressives are nearing two million dollars each.

Microgaming’s Progressives Jackpot Network has paid out over $224 million since it began in November of 2006, turning eleven people into millionaires.

Microgaming’s Mega Moolah five-reel 25-payline video slot, its first four-tiered progressive, starts with a prize pool of $1.94 million. It currently stands at $9.34 million.

The prize pool for Major Millions progressive from the Isle of Man-based firm is currently sitting at $1.75 million with its King Cashalot next at $1.63 million and Roulette Royal at just over $1.42 million.

“I know we’ve had big jackpots in the past but to have one progressive at almost ten million dollars and a further three very close to the two million dollar mark is a first and represents a massive total prize pool,” said Roger Raatgever, Chief Executive Officer for Microgaming.

“We pride ourselves on offering our operators the biggest prizes and the largest and most attractive suite of quality games in the business.”
