Boss Media Aims to Double Revenues by 2010

10th January

Boss Media AB has told analysts this morning that it aims to double its revenues at a sustained margin by 2010 through organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

The announcement of the company’s growth objectives follows last months surprise trading update, in which the company advised that profit margins for 2007 were expected to be higher than that previously communicated as a result of a strong end of year.

Boss Media CEO, Michael Hallén, told analysts in Copenhagen today that he believes the company will grow at a faster pace that the rest of the gaming industry, which he suggests will grow by 15 to 20% per annum in the 2008 – 2010 period.

The company’s strategy in this period will be to lower its dependence on its current primary revenue streams, casino and poker, through the expansion of its bingo and gaming terminals business.

Boss Media will begin the expansion of its product portfolio this month with the introduction of a new online bingo solution, with an aggressive plan to rapidly grow volume during 2008 – 2009.

Mr Hallén also said that the company would use its strong position within the World Lottery Association (WLA) to become the supplier of choice for WLA members. The company will play a major role in the launch of the world’s second state-owned online poker site in the first quarter of 2008, a WLA member, previously confirmed by Gaming Intelligence Group as the Austrian government-owned gaming portal win2day.at.

Shares of Boss Media AB (STO:BOSS) climbed 4.67% to SEK15.70 immediately following the announcement this morning.
